Please share this quote from my father through #MLKDay2022:
“I think the tragedy is that we have a Congress with a Senate that has a minority of misguided senators who will use the filibuster to keep the majority of people from even voting.” @LeaderMcConnell @SenatorSinema pic.twitter.com/uLmHyEqTTU

This King quote is getting a lot of mileage today.
I’m guessing Mike Huckabee won’t use it at the invitation-only M.L. King Day breakfast Monday at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion. The guest list includes all six Republicans in Congress from Arkansas — voting rights opponents and filibuster supporters all.
BTW: The taxpayer-financed Martin Luther King Jr. Commission continues to violate the state Freedom of Information Act by refusing to provide me with the time of the breakfast. UPDATE: At 4 p.m. today, after a week of trying, I got the start time — 8 a.m. — and clearance to attend.
Want to gag? Check this from the blithering hypocrite Rep. French Hill, who voted against the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.
Or maybe this. Funny way he has of showing respect for John Lewis.
Today, I paid my respects to civil rights giant Congressman John Lewis as he laid in state inside of the U.S. Capitol. The House will be a poorer place without John’s beautiful voice, and his beautiful message, which brought everyone together. Praying for his family and friends. pic.twitter.com/VxRirre8iR
