A Kansas City man is recovering after being shot during a trip to New York City.Chris Ruby, 44, was returning from the Mets and Phillies game when a gunman shot him in midtown Manhattan. Police said the suspect was trying to target someone else but hit Ruby.Ruby’s collarbone and shoulder blade were fractured. He was released from the hospital Wednesday afternoon and spoke exclusively to ABC before getting on a plane.”I’m just ready to go home. I was in the hospital for five hours this morning, and in the police station for two or three. I was having such a great time until this happened,” Ruby said.He said this was his first trip to New York City. Ruby said that he’s working to go to a baseball game in every ballpark. A person of interest is in custody.

He said this was his first trip to New York City. Ruby said that he’s working to go to a baseball game in every ballpark. A person of interest is in custody.
