Kansas City police are investigating a three-vehicle crash Thursday near 23rd Street and Monroe Avenue that injured nine people.The crash was reported at about 3:26 p.m.Accident investigators said that a Chevrolet sedan had been heading west when a GMC SUV turned left in its path. The vehicles collided, at which time a Toyota van, which had also been heading west hit the Chevrolet. Authorities said a man driving the SUV and four juvenile passengers went to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The four adults in the Chevrolet were taken to hospitals. One had serious injuries the others had non-life-threatening injuries.A woman driving the Toyota was not hurt, police said.
