KCPD: 3 teens wounded in shooting near 83rd Terrace, Lydia Avenue

Three teenagers were wounded in a shooting Tuesday evening near 83rd Terrace and Lydia Avenue, according to Kansas City police.Authorities said officers were called at 5:06 p.m. to the area on a report of shots fired. Police said the call was updated as a shooting when police arrived.Officers said two shooting victims were found in the 1300 block of East 82nd Terrace and another shooting victim was found near at 84th Street and Lydia. All three were taken to a hospitals. Police said two victims had non-life threatening injuries and one suffered critical injuries.Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting have yet to be determined.
