In a Sunday interview with Fox news host Chris Wallace, Kansas City Mayor Q proclaims that “defund the police” allegations leveled against him are a “bogeyman” and his efforts are focused on prevention and youth services.

For now Mayor Q is small potatoes so the Fox anchor didn’t bother to follow-up with this fun fact . . .

AFTER MONTHS OF DEBATE MAYOR Q HASN’T REVEALED ANY BUDGET FOR THE 42 MILLION BUCKS WORTH OF POLICE FUNDING HE PLANS TO REALLOCATE!!!

This is a VERY BIG DEAL and a question that local media hasn’t asked so far.

Also, no mention of two murders this morning which prove that killers on local streets don’t really care about municipal funding slap fights amongst politicians.

Of course the Mayor pushed anti-gun rhetoric . . .

“I will have to go back to firearms. How is it that a 13-year-old, a 14-year-old  is getting access to firearms so easily? That’s why I support the President’s plans with the ATF. To make sure that we’re cracking down on illegal gun traffickers, making sure we’re cracking down on ghost guns. These things are getting into the hands of kids and they’re having fatal results each and every day in places like Kansas City, Chicago and throughout the country.”

For the record . . .

There has not been one “ghost gun” killing in Kansas City by our count.

Please correct us and provide more info on 3D guns manufactured in this cowtown if we are incorrect in this assertion . . . .

Nevertheless . . .

For all of the animus directed at Mayor Q, his comment about breaking the cycle of violence for young people was inspiring . . . Even if it was complete fantasy.

And so . . .

The interview is a SUNDAY VICTORY for Mayor Q. He kept his cool, his delivery was polished, professional and reassuring to the uninitiated. His talking points were nearly perfect and on message with Democratic Party messaging nationwide.
